Fun Times with the Fam

I kind of feel like I checked out of all of life's worries and concerns for the last few days and just enjoyed some fun times with the fam.  It was quite nice.  I still took care of certain responsibilities and didn't abandon all things normal but it was good to have a bit of a break of those things and just enjoy family.  We've had some good times.  Tonight for instance Pete, Jim, Mike and myself were singing Neil Diamond songs from the Jazz Singer.  Those are some fantastic songs and it was fun to simply start singing, hitting the lyrics and the timing perfectly and laughing as we did it.  Good stuff.  Grateful for fun times.  Grateful for family.  Grateful for all we are blessed with as a family and pray for continued blessings of our heavenly father to strengthen our feeble knees and help us progress on our journey back to him.
