The Creepy Basement

We had a visit from the health inspector yesterday and everything was in good order.  He did get on us about a section of wall outside the walk in freezer in the basement where some drywall was removed and insulation had spilled on the floor back when we had a small electrical fire there in the wall.  Really it was miraculous that it happened when it happened and that the entire place didn't burn to the ground.  Anyway, we didn't put up any new drywall so he said we needed to.  I decided not to procrastinate that and took in some drywall, some tape and some mud and got that all squared away today.  Then I turned my efforts into cleaning up the basement.  We haven't ever really done that but I hear all the time from the employees about the creepy basement and how scary it is.  Really it isn't all that creepy or scary.  There is a lot of junk down there that accumulated over the 50+ years of a restaurant being in operation there.  Anyway, I set to straightening some things up, moving some shelves, sweeping the floor and some other things.  I have wanted to do a haunted basement for Halloween and had a few ideas today.  Anyway, Jack got excited about converting one of the rooms in the basement to a train room.  What else would he convert it into?  I had him come down and tell me all about it in the not so creepy basement.
