Well what to say? It was a most excellent 4th of July. Had much fun. I am beat and so this is going to be brief. We had a great time. I took Pete, Jay, Mike and Liana, Clo, Marien and Katherine on the Ash Down Gorge hike. It was slow moving but beautiful. We took a while to get up to the meat of the hike and it was already time to go. It was time to go because we suddenly got to experience a major down pour in the slot canyon. We made some quick time getting down the trail and back to the cars but we were soaked and beaten by hail and rain. We were getting some flash flood conditions. We all made it out safe. It was a beating of sorts.
Had a great celebration here at the house with everyone. Had some 50/50 bacon burgers and other delicious food. We had a talent show/lip sync. That was a good addition to the evening.
I am completely passing out so I am going to sign off.
