It is Andy's birthday today. This little boy of mine is now 5 years old. I can hardly believe it. I remember the day he was born. I watched Nacho Libre for the first time while we waited for things to pick up in the delivery room. It was on my IPod so it was pretty small and I am certain Rachel appreciated my random out loud laughter. Well it helped the time pass more quickly. What a beautiful baby boy he was and is. Maybe it has something to do with how small he is but it is really hard to believe that he is 5 already and in Kindergarten no less.
We had a fun day. I took him to pick up some treats for his class and then I took him in to school as it was early start day for him being Wednesday so I figured I could get it done and get in to work before any major rush. It worked out okay. He really loves going to school. I am glad for that and hope we cane nourish those good feelings.
Natty had a soccer game today so we went to that. I noted in a separate blog special report that Natty scored her first goal ever. It was great, perhaps a little lucky but great none the less.
There was a car show going on at the Cheverolet dealership in town. Jack saw it and really wanted to go and Andy gave it his birthday blessing so we stopped in. Old restored vehicles are pretty fun. All three did great with not touching. I snapped some pics but am not going to upload them here as my connection wont' handle it.
Andy was all about those presents and he got a fairly large loot. Dad/Mom, Dave and Amy all participated in a little pool to get Andy a bike. Thanks much for the help. He is pretty excited about it.
We had a fun day and a good birthday celebration. Love that Andyboy and Natty and Jack as well.
