Announcement!

Isn't that a catchy title? Now you are wondering what the heck I am going to announce. Well read on my friends, it will be well worth your time.

I was in the office working on a personal matter this afternoon when Amy showed up and was scouring over some pictures of a friend that is getting married. Apparently these were pictures being considered for the big announcement. I always enjoy having a gander at wedding announcements. Happy couple preparing to get married, lovely. You get those that are simple and then those that are quite the production. Whether in matching attire or not I like to see them and then try to figure out if I have any idea who these people are. Today Amy was checking out pics of her friend Skyler - I know him, he's like one of the brothers - right Amy?

Graduation announcements. Those are cool. I liked getting the announcement for Jordan Rogers. Actually I got it just after getting his Eagle Court of Honor announcement. As he was one of my favorite scouts this was a lot of fun. Also fun to show Natty pics of her once favorite baby sitter who she had a little crush on back in the day. Jordan is now serving a mission. It is fun to see young men that you worked with progressing in life.

I don't do a lot with the newspaper anymore but every now and again I pop it open and have a gander. Funny I always seem to spend time in the obituaries as well as the first birthday pics. Those make for an interesting read.

Well, personally I have no major announcement today. Perhaps some day in the future but for now I am sitting tight and holding the fort. There is an announcement from Andy that I wish to share. This is an announcement of vital importance in our lives.

Said Andy:
