So early this morning - okay not so early. So at 7 this morning I rolled in to the Brick House and went back to work on the floor with the floor stripper that I mentioned in yesterdays post titled "shake it". That post could have very well been a tribute to my sister in law Dani who is a Zumba instructor and is constantly invited her girls to come shake it on Thursday night. I usually give her grief for excluding the gents and threaten my attendance at one of these events. I figure they have to be loaded with ladies as Dani only references ladies in her FaceBook posts on the matter. Hmmmm.
Well back to this morning. I grabbed the machine and fired it up. I did not want to be there. My hands are dead from the vibration of the machine and the rest of my body was aching as well. My chest is very sore from leaning on the machine and pushing it along through the glue. Anyway, as I was getting beat I couldn't help but think of Jim Carey in the movie Liar Liar when he is in the bathroom beating himself up and says "I'm kicking my own arse". Yes, that particular feeling was there throughout, sometimes more prominent than others. I was certainly glad when it was finished though I immediately found myself driving to the folks to help with moving today.
Yes the folks moved... again. Hopefully they have now found a place they can make their permanent home. It is a nice house with very green carpet. Very green. Lovely. In time they will be changing the carpet. Anyhow, it was a good move for them. Nice to have Jim, Jay and Dave all there as well. Made the load a lot lighter. Naturally the folks were involved as well and Clorinda, Jayson and Jaykob came and helped. Congrats anyway to the folks. Thanks also for dinner.
Well, I have to go and assist the Easter Bunny in getting a few things set up for the kids. Sweet. I will do my best to quickly recover from this good old fashion arse whoopin and try to avoid these beatings in the future.
