My dune reference in the title has everything to do with a little family get together today at Snow Canyon. Clorinda is up with the kids and we met her in St. George a long with Jay and Sara and fam. We then went up had lunch and enjoyed the sand dunes in Snow Canyon. It was a good visit and the kids all seemed to enjoy themselves.
So if you have previously read this post you will note that all of this is new. I was tuckered out last night and cut out early. Sometimes it is too difficult to keep the eyes open and it prolongs the post time. Anyhow, here is more info.
Jack was having a hard time with the sand blowing in his eyes. He kept running back to where we camped and would wipe his eyes on grandmas shirt. He had some snotty moments but finally found a way to relax. Here he is with his booty in a hole, lounging at the dunes. We went on to dig a triple tunnel in this spot and he ended up having a very enjoyable day.
Andy started off a little slow. He wasn't so sure about all this sand and had to get used to it. He hung out with his cousins for a while and when he discovered things were okay he was off and running. He ended up with Clayton for quite a while digging a fairly large hole.
Natty was all over the place and seemed to have a great time with her cousins. Here are a couple of shots with her and Katherine enjoying the dunes in dramatic fashion.
A couple other glorious moments include Anna and her massive two tone snot. Just had to get a picture of this one and post it for all to enjoy.
Jayson also found himself in a bit of a hole.
Well, it was a good time. All had fun and my camera may have actually survived but I am not exactly sure just yet. It has not wanted to open quite right but I don't know if that is due to low battery or the infiltration of the sand. Wonderful.
And now my original closing from last night:
Crap, I hate to be bugging out on this post but I am half asleep. I do have some pretty fun pics from the trip and what not. I will upload them and finish this post a little later. I can't manage to keep my eyes open right now so... Call it - Time of post termination, 11:47 PM.
