Kinder Feast

I joined Andy in class today to help with their Thanksgiving Feast.  Mrs. Jansen asked if I would brink some Turkey for the kids to try and then help out with the activity.  I was there - it was a good time.

Here are some pictures of  Andy at the Kindergarten Thanksgiving feast.

Two thumbs up from Little Chief Crescent Eyes

Mashed Potatoes - mmmm, delicious

Pumpkin Pie with some squinty eyes.

It was fun to go in and help out the class.  Andy sure was excited when he looked up and saw me there to help.  That was fun.

After the meal they sat around on their letter mat and they all said what they were thankful for.  When it was Andy's turn he said "Um, I am thankful for... (paused for dramatic effect) to wrestle".  I was puzzled myself wondering what he was talking about.  I figured it was wrestling with Jack.  Mrs. Jansen asked me if we wrestle and I said we did then Andy said "I am thankful for wrestling with my dad".  The ladies all melted at that point - doesn't that just make you feel good?...

Anyhow, the day has been full.  I am grateful for it.  Grateful for my sweet kids and the blessings they are in my life.
