A Lot of Rolls

We kicked out a catering order over the last three days for the LDS Institute Closing Social.  The order included 1400 rolls and 55 gallons of soup.  I don't care who you are, 1400 rolls is a lot of rolls.  55 gallons of soup is a lot of soup to go with those rolls.  They told us 700, the count was over 800.  Somehow in the end we ran out of bowls before we ran out of soup.  We brought 750 bowls.  That is pretty fantastic.  It was well received.  There was one of the gals who seemed to be in charge of the Institute Council, anyway, she said that people were really excited to hear that The Little Brick House was catering the food.  That is pretty sweet and pretty neat to hear that there is excitement out there about our food and our name.  Now look, I am quite glad it is over because it was a stressful endeavor.  It made for a few rough days out there trying to get settled into the new location whilst putting together this catering order.  Exhausting.  By the way, did I mention that there 1400 rolls?  That's definitely a lot of rolls.
