Troubleshooting

We had a plug go down at the LBH last week.  Tripped the breaker.  It was a GFI plug - I think there is a C in that somewhere.  Anyway, the GFI is one that you reset on the plug itself.  This one will not reset.  I thought the GFI was broken and replaced the plug tonight.  Not so.  The new one is also not working and it turns out there is no power coming into the plug.  I have to figure this is one of two things; either the breaker is bad in the panel box or there is another GFI plug in sequence before this plug and it is tripped.  I went through every plug I could find.  All GFI's are testing just fine.  I have a sneaky suspicion there is a plug on the opposite side of the wall from this plug that is GFI and it is my guess that it is tripped.  The problem is it is directly under the soda machine which sits on a closed in cabinet with no way to access it.  The syrup lines for the syrup go into the side of the box and up to the machine through the counter.  I took a look through the hole and couldn't see the other wall because it is a closed in box.  No way to tell if there is another GFI plug on that wall that is causing the problem.  I have done my duty with the troubleshooting or done the best I know how anyway.  We are either going to have to get an electrician involved or I am going to have to see if my theory is correct on a second GFI.  What to do, what to do?

I am certain that this has been a wonderful read for any of you that are daily followers.  Nothing quite as exciting as writing about GFI plugs and troubleshooting challenges.  Funny how that troubleshooting works.  We can go forward and do everything that we can do and still come up short. Kind of like our lives, we are going to come up short of perfection after we have done everything that we possibly can do.  Fortunately we have a loving Savior that will make up the difference for us and will raise us to a state of perfection as we come unto Him.  We have a choice in this life.  We can choose to go it alone and come up short or we can turn to the Master whose perfect atonement will make up the difference.  I am grateful for that especially on a day like today when I have exhausted my abilities and still can't get it.
