After a number of long days and very little sleep my body had enough. Seems as if I relapsed today into my illness of pre Thanksgiving. I don't really know if it is the same thing or not, I do know that at about 1 PM today it kicked my butt. I had to continue working as we are shooting to open tomorrow. Looks like we'll make that. I don't know that we will be perfect tomorrow but we are going to do our best and get some sandwiches made.
I came home, parked and fell asleep in the car for a few. The kids were with Jay and Sara and fam at something that I can't think of right now. Anyhow, I managed to make it inside, took a shower. The Hot water was gone in roughly 18 minutes. Simply not long enough. I got into bed and the kids got home. We worked on homework together. They brought it into my room and I helped them and tried to rest all at the same time. It worked out. We had scriptures and prayer, Natty helped out with all of that and then the kids played a bit while I rested.
At one point Jack came in very concerned. He climbed up on my bed and said "Dad, I want to give you a Priesthood Blessing". It was a moving moment and a great testimony of Jack's faith in the Priesthood. I explained that he would need to first hold the Priesthood before he could administer a Priesthood Blessing and then I told him that he could offer prayer and that Heavenly Father would bless me through his prayer of faith. He prayed and I enjoyed a sweet moment with that little boy who has a sincere heart.
