Today was the day we moved the cafe. My goodness, what a day it has been. I am completely wiped out and somehow I have two boys that are pushing for a late night. Both are somehow wired. Hopefully they will slow down a bit here and fall asleep. It is going to be hard for me to stay awake. I could have them type the blog, that usually helps me get to sleep quickly.
So we were on the move. Jack really wanted to come and knowing this was going to be a full day I took him with me and had Natty stay home with Andy. She did well with him. Jack had a good time with everyone on the move. It started out well. He talked and talked and talked to everyone. We had Mak, Taryn and Nikki there helping and Jack kept them entertained.
There were a few things he said that were pretty funny. Well, I thought they were funny anyway. When we were pulling out with the first load he didn't want anyone to leave before he said "Let's Move Out!". He delivered his line well and made a point of saying it each time we took a load.
At one point in the move we were at the new space and Jack was locked into an Ozzy Osborne song. He kept singing the line "we're going off the rails on a crazy train..." over and over again. I played that song for him once thing he might like it because of it's association with trains. That was probably a year ago. I am amazed that he just started singing it. I guess it stuck with him.
There were a number of things that he talked about that were pretty funny and definitely his view on just about anything is pretty fantastic. He did suddenly throw out to the girls some fun, lesser known facts about submarines and operating a sup. The person who drives the sub is actually called a pilot. I did not know this.
At the end of the day we were getting ready to come home and pops played a little joke on Jack with a fake, bloody hand. He made like his hand came off. Jack just laughed and said something like "That's funny grandpa. When I grow up I'm going to share that story with my kids." It got pops laughing pretty good.
Well, it is bed time. Both the boys just told me they were tired. That is a good thing. The day was a long one. It was great to have little Jack around. He certainly kept us all entertained. There is only one last thing to say in closing; Let's Move Out!
