Adjusting

Over the past few summers I have had the ultimate in freedom with the kids up in Alaska with their mom.  This year Jack did not go.  That changes things a bit for me.  I no longer have the ability to work all day and not worry about anything because it is just me.  I can't go catch a late movie at the theater, the laundry is still here, the house still needs to be cleaned and their is at least one other mouth to feed that is particularly picky.  I am going to have to drag this fella away from electronics which is hard because when I am at work he is there watching videos on the computer.  When I am at home I am trying to work on projects around the house and he is on the computer.  Got some adjusting to do cause I can't do this routine all summer.  We did go fly a kite this morning and that was great, also had him practice his push ups for scouts.  I've got to get him doing more.
