Service Project

We were notified last night that one of our home teaching families was in need of some assistance with their yard.  Well, that is exciting.  I love a bit of yard work.  Kaden sent me a message that the 11 year old scouts would help as a service project.  Perfect.  Jack and I loaded up a few things in the trailer and headed over at 6.  We went for it.  There were weeds that were easily up to my waist if not higher.  It was a bit crazy and it killed my allergies but we got it done.  Jack did a great job raking the fallen grass and bagging it up.  I was impressed with his work.  Sometimes he likes to find reasons not to work but I guess because it was scouts it was okay to dig in.  I like that.  It was a good service project and the family was very appreciative.
