Equal

I posted this on facebook tonight: 

Call me out of touch, old fashioned, a hater, I really don't care. When it comes to this equal stuff, I'll be standing with the Lord. What He reveals through His Prophets is all that matters to me.

I have been invited to show my support for gay marriage by people on facebook.  I have had friends update their profile pics to the red box with and equal sign in it.  I have seen friends update their own pictures in support of this movement for redefining marriage.  You will get no support from me on this.  I am completely against destroying the institution of marriage.  Marriage is between a man and a woman, period. 

When it comes to those who have homosexual inclinations, that is your business.  It is not a lifestyle I would choose.  Having certain rights extended to homosexual couples that protect them doesn't bother me.  They should certainly not be discriminated against.  Interestingly enough, the church obviously is opposed to redefining marriage, they do not oppose certain rights being extended to homosexuals.
