Natty and the VB

We found ourselves at Cedar Middle School tonight for a band concert.  Natty is quite the little flute player.  During this last quarter of school she was one of I don't know how many who went to the band teachers and said she wanted to move up to the next level.  I don't recall what level she was at, something like Spartans.  So anyway, she was good enough to make the jump to the Varsity Band and tonight was their concert.  The Varsity Band was good, strong and more precise.  I could tell the difference.

I had the opportunity tonight to sit and think about Natty for a bit and to ponder her musical talent.  I am grateful that she is developing this talent.  I am grateful that she enjoys the band and has so much fun there.  For the last several weeks she has been quite excited about all the songs they have been learning.  They are some good songs.  Crazy Train was one of the entire bands favorites and they closed with that song tonight.  It was a good one to go out on.  Anyhow, I am happy and find joy in seeing my children grow and develop.  I am grateful for Natty.  She is a talented young lady and is such a great help to me.  Love you Natty Sue.  Thanks for sharing your talents with us.
