Ahhh Damage!

Back in April I found a great deal on a TV online.  I didn't need the TV right then as I had to clear out the family room and the other rooms in the basement in order to install new flooring, paint some walls etc.  I have that work done and tonight I finished the TV stand.  I spoke about that yesterday and as an update I sanded it down and repainted it with the flat.  It looked fabulous.  I then put a clear coat on with a product that was also supposed to be flat.  There was a bit of shine. Not much I could do with that.  It is good and it will definitely do the trick.  After it had dried sufficiently the boys and I carried it down stairs.  I then got out the new TV, it was stored in my closet and I hadn't yet looked at it.  There was some damage.  At first it just looked like cosmetic damage then we turned it on and pretty much nothing worked.  The screen is shattered in the corner that has the damage and that spreads across much of it.  That pretty much just ruined the excitement I had for the new TV and set up in the basement.  I've contacted Woot and hope they will do something for me.
