Yesterday when I got out of class I walked home in a rainstorm. Today we had more rain. It is a colder rain and it is cooling things off quite a bit. We're down in the low 70's which in my book is fantastic weather. Anyway, it feels a lot cooler after being quite a bit hotter over the summer. It is nice to have things cooling down a bit. I might even try to sleep tonight without the swamp cooler on. It is nice to be comfortable. All too soon we will be running the heater and firing up the stove. I don't mind enjoying this weather as long as we can. I'm certainly not ready to change out of my shorts, a practice that I will put off as long as possible. Anyway, the cooler temperatures are welcome, I don't know that we are to the point where we will have cooler temps all the time but it is nice for now.
