Ahhh, the test
I took my first test in my Family Development class today. It was a bit frustrating. The professor provided a study guide and I went through that study guide a few times this week and tried to become familiar with everything that was on it. It was a multiple choice test and so I felt pretty good about my base knowledge and that I would be able to recognize answers pretty easily. For some of the test it was the case but for the rest of it not so much. That kind of thing is what I find frustrating. I guess I feel that if you are going to provide a study guide have it cover all topics on the exam. Am I in the wrong here? Perhaps I am. I don't want to belly ache over things that I should have known regardless of what a study guide says and I guess that is the approach I will have to take into the next exam. I think these are the lessons of the first exams. You really don't know how the professor will test until you get into one. Oh well, not much I can do about it now. I will just have to improve on the next one.
