Kahones

We went out to the hill at the high school tonight to do a little night sledding.  The kids had a great time in night sledding 2.0.  I do have a couple of pics but nothing really different then the pics I shared last time.  Not sure how that worked - kids in snow gear on sleds at night surrounded by snow.  Yep, those all end up looking the same.

So we got home and Jack jumped in the bath.  A nice hot bath happens to be one of his favorite things in the world.  It has been forever.  When we would swim in our pool he would get to a point where he was done, he was cold and all he wanted to do was climb in the shower.  Granted that is not a bath but he would stop the drain and would have a fairly healthy pool there after a while.  Anyhow, he had a bath and got himself out.  I was in the garage working on something and when I came back in the house he was sitting on the couch in the buff. Yes, he loves to take a nice hot bath, dry off and then hang out in the nude for a bit. 

I am not a doctor and do not make a study of little boy ages and when the average boy discovers or has questions about his man parts.  Jack was in a discovery moment.  He said to me "Dad, my nuts have little balls in them".  I replied "Jack, your nuts are your balls, your testicles, your kahones, the family jewels".  It was like a little light came on and suddenly there was a clear understanding of, well, nuts.  By the way, he thought kahones was the best name for them though family jewels was a close second.  Oh the joys of discovery.
