Ever since Jack was a little boy we have built train tracks together. I did more of the building at the start and he operated the trains. He has caught on to the track building thing and has put together some pretty great tracks. Today he had a triple stacked track that he was pretty excited about but it was more of a hill that stopped against the wall. Don't know if that made any sense. Anyhow, the track was at a dead end. It did remind me of one of the first tracks that I made for him. We were triple stacked and had a steep climb and a long drop off a turn. I told Jack about it - this was four and a half years ago but I remember it well. He got excited about the idea and soon we rebuilt what he had started and then put together a pretty nice little track.
Another thing that happened back in those days was that Andy would sit in his little bouncer seat or car seat or on a blanket and watch those trains go. He was fascinated by them and was always happy to watch them operate. Andy has graduated to the operator while Jack has added design to his resume. I've always enjoyed playing around with the design side of it just to see what we can come up with. I like the creative. So anyway, we put together a good little track and then I managed to get a couple of trains operating for them and they went to playing trains. They had a great time as did I.
