I love a good teacher. I do. Today I had a great one. Well all of us in quorum meeting did. I was truly grateful for that. There were things taught today that were of great strength to me. I am grateful for a teacher that prepared diligently and had the spirit with him. Brother Roy Hollinger is a tremendous student of the scriptures. He has an amazing knowledge of them and we were taught. I was moved by his example of study and mastery.
I had an opportunity to go out and visit with the Fawson family tonight. They are such a great family. I have been their home teacher for nearly 18 months and it has been a joy in my life. I have been taught by them and strengthened. It is amazing how the Lord knows what you need.
To say that I was not a bit fragile when we arrived in Cedar City would not be very truthful. I was certainly fragile. I have been in a healing process. It has been good. I am grateful for the things that I have been taught and the lessons that I continue to learn. Truly there is so much to be grateful for. It is my hope that I will be in the right spirit throughout my life so that I can be receptive to his teachings and his teachers.
